I was really disappointed with my experience at this place.

We booked a 3-day package. I understand that three days is not enough to go deeply into Ayurveda, but during our entire stay there were no treatments and almost no meaningful information about Ayurveda at all. For me, this felt much more like a luxury wellness retreat than an Ayurvedic retreat — and that should be clearly communicated to guests when they book a short stay.

The place itself is very impressive: extremely beautiful, luxurious, and strongly focused on spiritual connection. The yoga, breathwork, and activities are very basic — suitable for beginners or for people looking for a gentle, smooth experience. The staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive.

However, the Ayurvedic aspect was very disappointing. We had to ask multiple times to see a doctor. In the end, we spoke only once to an Ayurvedic doctor for about 20 minutes. We also received conflicting dosha diagnoses from two different doctors, which was confusing. I specifically requested a female Ayurvedic doctor and was told I would have an appointment the next day, but instead I was seen by a naturopath, as the Ayurvedic doctor was on holiday — something that was not communicated in advance.

They also conducted diagnostic tests, but no one ever explained the results to us, even after asking. I am leaving this place with no real knowledge of how to better care for my body and without having learned practical Ayurvedic tips, which was the main reason for my visit.

Each time we wanted a doctor’s appointment, we had to ask repeatedly. On our last evening, we were told we would speak with a doctor the following day, but no one contacted us before checkout. By then, we already had a taxi booked to leave.

On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the service in the dining area was outstanding. The staff there was incredibly kind, and the meals were delicious.

We recently spent five nights at this incredible five-star sanctuary, and it truly felt like a retreat from the world. I would rate the food as Michelin-star quality—every meal was exceptional and comparable to what you would expect in a Michelin-star restaurant.

What I particularly appreciated was the underlying philosophy of the place, which instantly calms your mind and helps you disconnect from a hectic city lifestyle. Perched high in the mountains, the property offers stunning views that enhance the overall sense of peace and wellbeing.

The staff were exceptionally attentive. I would especially like to mention Mr. Amit Singh, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. I would also like to commend the restaurant team, who were absolutely fantastic—nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

I would highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone seeking luxury, outstanding service, and a truly relaxing experience.

Aatma Naman !! A truly transformative escape amidst serene hills — where body, mind, and soul find balance. The therapies, from Swedish massage to Janu Basti, halo therapy, shirodhra were deeply healing, while the light, clean meals of fresh fruits worked wonders for digestion and clarity. The Cosmic Sound Therapy in the stunning Galaxies Room was the highlight — an experience that felt like floating through stillness and stars.
Petting and feeding the cows added a soulful touch, grounding me in nature’s calm. Even weeks later, my metabolism feels stronger and my body lighter. For anyone from North India or Delhi seeking respite from pollution and chaos, this retreat is the perfect hideaway — beautifully curated, and worth every moment. 🌸

I had the pleasure of meeting Amit during my stay at a wellness luxury retreat, and I must say he truly made a difference in my experience. From the very first day, Amit greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. His comforting presence, and eagerness to help with anything I needed created a feeling of ease and care throughout my stay. It's rare to come across someone so attentive, kind, and dedicated. Amit truly embodies the spirit of excellent service and made my time there extra special. Thank you, Bapu (Amitbhai)😊.!!

    Program Experience

The Ayurveda Panchakarma Program offers a holistic and deeply restorative approach to detoxification, rejuvenation, and overall wellbeing, rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles and personalised care.

Each Seeker undergoes an individual assessment to guide a customised Panchakarma protocol. These therapies work together to restore doshic balance, support digestive fire, reduce inflammation, and calm the nervous system.

    The program is complemented by:

    • Therapeutic yoga and pranayama practices
    • Guided meditation for mental clarity and relaxation
    • Personalised Ayurvedic nutrition to support detoxification and vitality
    • Seekers conclude the program with a tailored nutrition and panchakarma plan, empowering them to sustain balance, rejuvenation, and wellbeing long after their retreat experience.

    FAQs

Panchakarma is Ayurveda’s flagship five-action detoxification and rejuvenation therapy. It systematically removes deep-seated toxins (ama), rebalances the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—and restores the body’s natural healing capacity. It is a clinical, physician-supervised protocol, not a spa treatment.
A genuine Panchakarma requires a minimum of 14 days to allow the three classical phases—preparation (purvakarma), elimination (pradhanakarma), and rejuvenation (paschatkarma)—to unfold properly. Shorter 3 to 7 day versions offer gentle cleansing but cannot complete the full detoxification cycle the way a 14- or 21-day programme does.
The five therapeutic actions are Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal administration), and Raktamokshana (blood purification). A treating Vaidya selects only the actions appropriate to your constitution and condition after assessment—not all five are used for every guest.
Panchakarma is generally gentle and deeply relaxing, though some elimination therapies can feel intensive and may cause temporary tiredness as toxins clear—sometimes called a healing response. All treatments are physician-supervised and adjusted to your comfort and capacity throughout the programme.
The programme begins with a consultation, pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), and prakriti assessment. The first phase, purvakarma, prepares the body through internal oleation (medicated ghee), external oil massage (Abhyanga), and herbal steam (Swedana) to mobilise toxins before the main elimination phase begins.
Panchakarma is used to support chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, stress, joint and inflammatory conditions, skin issues, hormonal imbalance, and metabolic concerns. It is also valued for preventive detoxification and rejuvenation in healthy people. It complements, and does not replace, conventional medical treatment.
Healthy people benefit greatly from Panchakarma as a preventive reset. Even without a specific condition, periodic detoxification clears accumulated toxins, improves digestion and energy, sharpens the mind, and strengthens immunity—making it a cornerstone of Ayurvedic preventive health.
During Panchakarma the diet is deliberately light and easy to digest—typically warm, freshly cooked foods and kitchari (a rice-lentil porridge)—to rest the digestive fire (agni). After the programme, foods are reintroduced gradually, and your doctor provides a personalised diet to protect the results.
Most seekers report lighter, more energetic, with clearer skin, improved digestion, deeper sleep, and a calmer mind after Panchakarma. Because the body has been deeply cleansed and rejuvenated, the benefits often continue to unfold in the weeks following the programme if the post-care routine is followed.
Panchakarma is not advised during pregnancy, for very young children, or for those who are extremely weak, acutely ill, or have certain medical conditions. A pre-arrival health assessment by the treating doctors determines suitability and customises—or excludes—specific therapies to ensure safety.
