I was really disappointed with my experience at this place.

We booked a 3-day package. I understand that three days is not enough to go deeply into Ayurveda, but during our entire stay there were no treatments and almost no meaningful information about Ayurveda at all. For me, this felt much more like a luxury wellness retreat than an Ayurvedic retreat — and that should be clearly communicated to guests when they book a short stay.

The place itself is very impressive: extremely beautiful, luxurious, and strongly focused on spiritual connection. The yoga, breathwork, and activities are very basic — suitable for beginners or for people looking for a gentle, smooth experience. The staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive.

However, the Ayurvedic aspect was very disappointing. We had to ask multiple times to see a doctor. In the end, we spoke only once to an Ayurvedic doctor for about 20 minutes. We also received conflicting dosha diagnoses from two different doctors, which was confusing. I specifically requested a female Ayurvedic doctor and was told I would have an appointment the next day, but instead I was seen by a naturopath, as the Ayurvedic doctor was on holiday — something that was not communicated in advance.

They also conducted diagnostic tests, but no one ever explained the results to us, even after asking. I am leaving this place with no real knowledge of how to better care for my body and without having learned practical Ayurvedic tips, which was the main reason for my visit.

Each time we wanted a doctor’s appointment, we had to ask repeatedly. On our last evening, we were told we would speak with a doctor the following day, but no one contacted us before checkout. By then, we already had a taxi booked to leave.

On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the service in the dining area was outstanding. The staff there was incredibly kind, and the meals were delicious.

We recently spent five nights at this incredible five-star sanctuary, and it truly felt like a retreat from the world. I would rate the food as Michelin-star quality—every meal was exceptional and comparable to what you would expect in a Michelin-star restaurant.

What I particularly appreciated was the underlying philosophy of the place, which instantly calms your mind and helps you disconnect from a hectic city lifestyle. Perched high in the mountains, the property offers stunning views that enhance the overall sense of peace and wellbeing.

The staff were exceptionally attentive. I would especially like to mention Mr. Amit Singh, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. I would also like to commend the restaurant team, who were absolutely fantastic—nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

I would highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone seeking luxury, outstanding service, and a truly relaxing experience.

Aatma Naman !! A truly transformative escape amidst serene hills — where body, mind, and soul find balance. The therapies, from Swedish massage to Janu Basti, halo therapy, shirodhra were deeply healing, while the light, clean meals of fresh fruits worked wonders for digestion and clarity. The Cosmic Sound Therapy in the stunning Galaxies Room was the highlight — an experience that felt like floating through stillness and stars.
Petting and feeding the cows added a soulful touch, grounding me in nature’s calm. Even weeks later, my metabolism feels stronger and my body lighter. For anyone from North India or Delhi seeking respite from pollution and chaos, this retreat is the perfect hideaway — beautifully curated, and worth every moment. 🌸

I had the pleasure of meeting Amit during my stay at a wellness luxury retreat, and I must say he truly made a difference in my experience. From the very first day, Amit greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. His comforting presence, and eagerness to help with anything I needed created a feeling of ease and care throughout my stay. It's rare to come across someone so attentive, kind, and dedicated. Amit truly embodies the spirit of excellent service and made my time there extra special. Thank you, Bapu (Amitbhai)😊.!!

    FAQs

A pain management programme is a drug-sparing, root-cause approach to easing chronic and musculoskeletal pain. At Swastik it uses targeted therapies such as Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Kati Basti, Abhyanga, and medicated treatments, alongside anti-inflammatory nutrition and gentle movement, to relieve pain and improve mobility.
The programme commonly supports joint pain, back and neck pain, arthritis-related stiffness, muscular tension, and chronic musculoskeletal discomfort. It addresses the underlying imbalance and inflammation rather than only masking symptoms. It complements medical care for diagnosed conditions.
Kati Basti is an Ayurvedic therapy in which warm medicated oil is pooled over the lower back within a herbal-dough ring. The sustained warmth and oil penetrate deeply to ease stiffness, reduce inflammation, and relieve lower-back and spinal pain—making it a signature pain-management treatment.
Pain management is best used as a complementary approach alongside medical diagnosis and treatment, not a replacement. For any acute injury, severe or unexplained pain, or diagnosed condition, continue working with your physician and share your reports during consultation.
By addressing the root causes of pain—inflammation, stiffness, poor mobility, and aggravated Vata—the programme aims to provide natural, sustained relief that may reduce dependence on symptomatic painkillers over time. Any change to prescribed medication must be guided by your doctor.
Therapies often include Abhyanga (medicated oil massage), localised treatments like Janu Basti for knees, herbal poultices (Pinda Sweda), and gentle steam, selected by the treating doctors. These improve circulation, reduce stiffness, and support joint mobility.
Yes. Diet strongly influences inflammation, which underlies much chronic pain. The programme includes an anti-inflammatory, easily digestible diet that reduces toxin build-up and supports tissue health, working together with therapies for better and more lasting relief.
Yes. Alongside pain relief, the programme incorporates gentle, guided movement and therapeutic yoga tailored to your condition to rebuild strength, flexibility, and range of motion—helping you move more comfortably and prevent recurrence.
Many guests feel meaningful relief and improved mobility within the first one to two weeks, though chronic conditions benefit from longer or repeated programmes. A stay of 7 to 14 days is commonly recommended, supported by a home routine to sustain results.
Preventing recurrence involves regular gentle movement, good posture, an anti-inflammatory diet, warmth and self-massage for Vata-related stiffness, stress management, and adequate rest. The programme provides a personalised plan so you can protect your mobility and comfort at home.
